LU2000

The LU2000 bonded video receiver is used to receive, reconstruct and playout any H.264 or HEVC bonded video stream sent by LiveU’s range of field units. The LU2000 can also be used as a transmission node when configuring LiveU’s MultiPoint transmission service.

The LU2000 becomes an integral part of your live video workflow, acting as your in-studio source of any remote LiveU live feed. The LU2000 includes the latest version of LiveU’s Multi-Media Hub (MMH), the software component that reconstructs multiple incoming LiveU streams.

The LU2000 comes in a range of configurations, from hardware-hosted MMH software, to cloud server solutions, and uses LiveU Reliable Transport (LRT), which includes patented Dynamic Adaptive Bitrate control and Forward Error Correction, allowing it to optimize live video delivery to different classes of receiver, dynamically adjusting bitrate and quality for the best viewer experience at any time.

The LU2000 can receive unlimited number of preview feeds, allowing the remote operator to select the feed that is actually sent out over SDI for local consumption, or streamed over the network for CDN or any other online video streaming. The LU2000 integrates seamlessly with LiveU’s multilayered live video ecosystem, allowing operators to monitor and control live streams via LiveU Central, the unified management platform for LiveU’s field and studio units.
